Despite their prickly nature, cacti can be so cute!
This little guy is perfect for a windowsill or other bright spot.
We have two cacti collection in our house - one in our large east facing window and other on our patio where they get bright afternoon sun but are protected from the summer rains ands strong mid-day sun.
Most cactus still need water - not all of them are native desert plants.
Inside, we water our cactus about once every 2 weeks, while the outside collection gets water once a week.
